What if we took whatever that sustains life on this planet, and diminished it down to one small bubble? Earth’s biosphere stretches about 20 km (12 mi). From the deep-sea vents in the ocean into the atmosphere. This is where practically all life exists. If we ever want to reside in area, or settle Mars, we will need to recreate this extremely complex system. What would you consume? Would you have garbage? What would be the biggest risk to your health?
