Sewer Camera Video: Sewer Camera – Tree Roots in Sewer – DIY Sewer Inspection Camera – rootx

In this video I show how to remove tree roots from sewer line by showing how to unclog main drain line with a sewer snake yourself. A stopped up drain can be frustrating, especially when you have tree roots in your main line. The drain clogs can be an ongoing problem. To fix this problem you can rent a mechanical auger or drain snake to clear out the roots in your sewer line yourself. It is really affordable and not too hard for do it yourself-ers. To have a professional camera your line with an inspection camera is super expensive. I made a DIY sewer camera to confirm that I had tree roots in sewer line, so I knew exactly where the tree roots where. That made unclogging the main line and remove the roots a lot less overwhelming, as I knew exactly what the problem was and where. I was able to retrieve the tree roots from the sewer and cut the roots in the sewer with the root cutter or roto rooter (roto-rooter). I then could re run the sewer camera into my main sewer line to confirm the tree root removal from main sewer line. I could then see that most of the tree roots were gone with the help of the diy sewer camera. I also discuss some products used treat roots in sewer line such as copper sulfate, zep root kill, rock salts, and rootx (RootX root x rootX ROOTX). You can then later inspect your sewer line with the sewer camera after using the chemical treatment to kill tree roots.
