If the leak is on an elbow connector or splice, note the location of the fixture. Turn off the water in the region, or the whole house if you do not know that the valve is good for the area around the leak.Put the pipe cutter on the path of the pipe of one of the marks. Tighten the hose into the pipe by turning the screw on the pipe until it is firmly in the pipe. Turn the tube around the pipe and tighten the screw tube until the tube is cut all the way through. Do it again on the other side. If the pipe is PEX, the use of PEX pipe cutters to cut a 90 degree angle.Take the section of pipe to the store of home improvement and purchase an appropriate size pipe. If the section is an elbow or tea, buy a push corresponding connection. An additional connection may be required and other pipe sections will be needed to extend the line on both sides of the connector to be replaced. Make sure to clean off the edges of pipe with a piece of emery cloth to remove all burrs and rough areas.
